Shuai Piano offers high-quality piano lessons to students of all levels and ages, starting as young as five. The business is founded and operated by Shuai Ye, a highly experienced piano instructor with over sixteen years of professional teaching experience. Shuai’s approach is centered on individualized instruction, creating customized practice plans tailored to each student’s needs. These plans incorporate a comprehensive curriculum including: Piano theory, Fingering techniques, Sight-reading skills, Dynamics, Ear training, Improvisation, Recital arrangement. For younger students (under six), lessons incorporate engaging games to foster interest and memory development. Shuai strives to cultivate a supportive and relaxed learning environment. Shuai holds the following qualifications: Master of Piano Performance from Duquesne University, Master of Music Education from the Shanghai Music Conservatory, Bachelor of Music Education from the Shanghai Music Conservatory. Shuai has a distinguished musical background, including: International recognition as a soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician. Extensive performance experience in major venues across the United States and Europe, including Lincoln Center, Merkin Hall, Symphony Space, the Kennedy Center, and the Gardner Museum. Regular touring throughout China and Europe. Collaboration with contemporary composers, including David Lang, Yehudi Wyner, and Andrew Rindfleisch. Founder and Artistic Director of the Ars Futura Ensemble. Shuai has received several prestigious awards, including: Rubinstein Memorial Award, Milton Salkin Piano Award. Shuai is currently a faculty member at: Cleveland Institute of Music, Interlochen Arts Camp, InterHarmony International Music Festival.
